Peace of mind, no charge
Nobody wants their family photographs, passwords, personal details, emails and documents falling into the wrong hands. People know that the delete button isn’t enough, but they don’t know the best way to securely destroy their data.
Every laptop, PC and tablet collected by Donate IT is put through Blackmore Ricotech’s professional data destruction process that completely and irrevocably destroys every last bit of information on the computer. You will not be charged for this service.
These professional data sanitisation methods are the same that are used for Blackmore Ricotech’s business clients, which include major utility companies, solicitors, accountants, local councils and the NHS.
We use National Cyber Security Centre approved BLANCCO software to data wipe the hard drives in PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
Should a magnetic hard drive fail to wipe or is faulty, it will be professionally shredded. The resulting scrap material particles are then recycled for re-use. Failed tablets and mobile phones are separated into parts; the batteries removed and all data holding components are shredded. The resulting materials are sent for incineration to provide energy recovery.
